Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager- Global Finance - Pricing Analytics CoE
- The candidate will be a part of the Global Finance - Pricing Analytics CoE team working to support our two primary stakeholders - Sales & Service for Majors Accounts Services (MAS)
- The role requires the candidate to be comfortable in influencing without authority, as the candidate will be responsible for driving various value add initiatives and getting work done.
- A primary responsibility will be to handle pricing escalations and take business decisions which directly affect the bottom-line while maintaining stakeholder expectations.
- Having a direct connect with the business, the candidate will have to step up and provide management support to the existing leadership team as per the business requirements.
- The candidate will also be expected to take part in Sr. Leadership interactions to apprise them of key developments & trends in the business as and when required.
- The role requires the candidate to be comfortable in working in ambiguous situations as the business requirements & trends are dynamic in nature and require out of the box solutions.
- Provide support for escalation deals under defined timelines
- Facilitate the discussions with stakeholders - Sales and Service teams be a central Point of Contact
- Program manage initiatives and ensure closure
- Leading group level discussions and adding value by providing insights at all BU level discussions
- Build and work on cross functional relationships within the Global Finance teams
- Able to keep himself up to date with dynamic pricing processes and techniques
- Develop and distribute action-oriented reports for the senior leadership as and when required
- Look for opportunities to improve business processes, systems and analytical capabilities
Qualifications : Post-Graduation in Finance/Marketing
Basic Requirements :
- 10+ years of related work experience
- Experience in Leading/Managing a team/s
- Problem solving skills
- Working understanding of business finance concepts
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to deliver under high level of ambiguity
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Expertise in MS Office tools
- Ability to work in a matrix organization
- Team player, acts with a sense of urgency and can work cross functionally across different teams
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and requirements
Preferred Requirements :
- Experience of having worked in a CoE environment
- Organized and able to work independently
- Decision making skills
- Coach / Mentor team members
- Familiarity with financial metrics and calculations
- Experience with relational database programs/querying tools
- Ability to add value to the organization by simplifying processes and helping in standardization
- Lean/Six sigma trained/certified would be an added advantage
