Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Finance & Accounts (4-9 yrs)

Few Pointers :

- The client is one of the Conglomerate with Global presence in various sectors with 8000+ employees.

- The candidate needs to be qualified for the job, MBA (Finance) or others.

- The location is Mangampet Mining Site,Telengana (Non family - Single accommodation will be provided)

Job Summary :

- Assistant Manager/ Dy. Manager - Finance & Accounts is responsible to monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the project/ site, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

- Oversee financial department employees, including financial assistants and accountants.

- Also responsible to Track the project's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvements.

- He shall have expertise in managing a wide spectrum of activities relating to Accounting control systems and Procedures, Reconciliations and MIS systems.

Key Job Responsibilities :

- Prepare Annual / Monthly budgets for the project by networking with various functional managers and ensuring its completion within the approved timeline.

- Collection of Production & Consumption data from Project/ site & verification of the same to ensure correctness.

- Preparation of Periodic Cost Reports & Analysis of variances against budget.

- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

- Regularly reconcile the Cost data with Financial data as per SAP & enable necessary corrections in the Costing data or the Financial books as per SAP.

- Prepare Cost & Consumption Variance Reports & analyse the same with reasons for the same.

- Recommend corrective actions to reduce variances through Cost reduction recommendations / Implementation of Systems.

- Maintain Cost database Project-wise, Activity-wise & Cost element wise for future reference and reliance.

- Analysis of Overheads & Fixed Costs for effective utilization of resources.

- Maintaining Cost Records in prescribed formats and Finalization of Cost Audit Report on Annual Basis

- Identify the cost drivers for cost reduction & allocation basis for apportionment of costs.

- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.

- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.

- Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

- Preparation of Cost Benefit Analysis for new initiatives, projects, capital investments.

- Deal with direct / indirect tax cases, monthly filing, audits and disputes.

- Vetting of Contracts to ensure the interests of the Organisation & compliance to statutory requirements.

- Due diligence of new investment proposals as well as existing operations.

- Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients in formal meetings.

- The Finance candidate we require should have at least 5 years of experience in Finance & Accounts with fluency in English & Telugu (Must).

- Knowledge of Tamil is preferred.

- He will be recruited in the JV Entity of the Company.
