We have urgent opening in one of our US based MNC in pharma, and manufacturing for Injectables

Position: Asst. Manger / Dy Manager - Cost Analyst

Department : Finance & Accounts

Reporting Supervisor- Plant Finance Controller

Location: Visakhapatnam

Responsible for analysing the cost impact for the site

Educational Qualifications and Work Experience:

ICWA,CA,MBA or any Graduate / Post Graduate

3+ years experience in Costing, Finance and SAP CO preferably in Manufacturing Companies.

- Knowledge on cost accounting standards (local & global)

- Accounting Standards relating to inventory, operational and capital expenses

Month End Closing

- Process Order Verification - Inputs and Output Quantity Checks

- PO Settlement Run.

- Work in Process Cycle Run

- Inventory Checking

- Co-ordination with Production, Warehouse and procurement, H.O Accounts & Corporate Teams

- Submission of WD-3 LBE v/s Actual Report and Commentary.

- Ensure proper flow of transactions in SAP and HFM.

- Month GL Scrutiny and co-ordinate with H.O Accounts for necessary actions.

Monthly Variance Accounting and Analysis

- Computation of PPV

- Computation of Usage Variance

- Computation of Overheads efficiency

- Preparation of Commentary and WD-3 report

- Preparation of JV

- Computation of capitalizing the variances as per Corporate Guidelines and Policies.

- Co-ordination with Production, Warehouse and procurement, H.O Accounts & Corporate Teams

- Ensure proper flow of transactions in SAP and HFM

Forecasting Works

- Monthly rolling LBE computations for WD-6 requirements

- Consists of all items similar to WD-3 report but for the remaining whole year.

- Identifying and highlighting the Risks and Opportunities on WD-6 Report

- Commentary preparation on WD-6 report

- Co-ordination with Production, Warehouse and procurement, H.O Accounts & Corporate Teams

- Ensure proper flow of transactions in SAP and HFM

Inventory Reporting

- Inventory Ageing Report Preparation

- Co-ordination with work streams to highlight the old inventory

- Inventory report to H.O and Corporate as per the guidelines.

- Ensure proper flow of transactions in SAP and HFM

Spending Analysis

- Coordination with various work streams for computing month end expenses provision computations.

- Overhead Absorption Analysis

- Report preparation on spending line items for WD-3 report.

- Commentary and reasoning for variances on spending.

- Forecasting requirements with regard to spending.

- Cost control measures.

- Head Count Analysis

- Month GL Scrutiny and co-ordinate with H.O Accounts for necessary actions.

Planning

- Annual Operating Plan

- Annual Capital Plan

- Standard Costing

- Co-ordinating with various work streams for inputs on Planning.

- Ensure to upload the approved figures in HFM.

Accounting and Auditing Assistance

- Ensure to provide relevant cost related information to Statutory Auditors or Internal auditors or any other auditors appointed by the Company.

- Support Corporate Office for Closing of Annual Accounts
