Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Commercial Finance - CA/ICWA - Construction Business (5-8 yrs)
AM/DM - Commercial Finance / CA 1st or 2nd attempt
BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for Commercial Finance processes and controls. Tracking Project Customer Purchase orders, indents & terms and conditions associated with the orders to avoid any revenue risks or leakages. Coordinating with Accounting team on Monthly provisions. Solely responsible for tracking Year end rebates and trade promotions. MIS related to Corporate reporting. Monthly MIS reporting with flair for continuous improvisation catering to both local business needs and monthly US reporting.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Track all Customer orders, approve commercial terms and conditions
- Responsible for maintaining checks and controls to avoid revenue leakages
- Track Trade dealer promotions/schemes budget vs actual spends
- Track AR and LC receivables
- Support Supply chain and Sales team on HSS import documentation and collection
- Due to extensive usage of Excel, should be well acquainted with relevant excel commands and past experience should speak out
- Analysis and reporting on project and retail business on a monthly basis through various reports
- Responsible for preparation to monthly MIS on PO wins, quote reports and pipeline reporting
- Analysis/reporting on performance of the rebate program in retail business
- Quarterly physical audit of the high value retail transaction sites and project sites
- Market visits to gain customer insights
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education required: CA/ ICWA is required.
Experience required: At least 5-6 years of related experience in multinational environment in a commercial finance function
Knowledge / Skill required: Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required with good communication skills
RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS
Supervisory Relationships: Reports to Manage Finance
Organizations Relationships: Points of inter-connect with Sales leadership team, Finance Controller and Supply chain team on a daily basis.
Frequent contacts with: Sales team, Supply chain order management team, Finance pricing team and Planning Manager Finance of Kohler India.
External Business Relationships: Has frequent contact with External Project customers and Trade Dealers on commercial concerns/terms on orders.
