Location: Mumbai Assistant Manager - Demand Planning A leading FMCG is looking for a National Demand Planning Manager, to be based in Mumbai. We are looking for talented and experience Supply Chain professionals, who have an in-depth experience in the following: 1. Demand Forecasting 2 .Working with statistical tools, used in demand forecasting and planning 3. Experience working with cross functional teams from Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations etc to accurately predict forecasting and drive improvements in forecasting accuracy 4. Regularly review of sales against forecast 5. Problem identification and making decisions with inputs from business 6. Create and monitor a statistical forecast in SAP or an alternate ERP 7. Monitor Forecast accuracy, highlight deviation to HOD &amp; work on mitigation plan to ensure plans are being met 8. Inventory Management and supply planning assistance 9. Team management experience is a must An ideal candidate would have the following: Bachelor's degree in Engineering and MBA degree is from premier b schools is a must. - 2-3 years of Demand planning experience in consumer-packaged goods industry. - Understanding of market and customer needs as well as products, product segments and the associated issues - Knowledge of Sales, Marketing, Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR), VMI and Sales Operations Planning processes (S&amp;OP).
