YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: - Drafting and reviewing of business and commercial agreements, non-disclosure agreements, broker agreements, and other communication with customers - Creating and updating standard templates and forms of different commercial contracts to ensure prompt response (as per the SLA) to business requirements - Advising business on queries relating to legislations, sanctions, and regulations pertaining to different geographies - Conducting research on recent legal and regulatory developments and providing business with pragmatic and workable solutions on the operation of international laws and practices. - Providing support on litigation matters by drafting file notes, conducting legal research, briefing the Group General Counsel and the Global Legal Head of Insurance on case proceedings, and briefing external counsel whenever necessary A SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT: - Graduate in Law - 03 to 06 years of experience in a similar role - Specialization and a high level of competency in insurance products and regulations pertaining to more than one insurance market - Exposure in handling international/multi-jurisdictional contracts - Working knowledge of MS office - Good communication and presentation skills - Ability to independently draft and negotiate commercial contracts like Non-Disclosure Agreements, Request for Proposals (RFP), Service Level Agreements, Tenancy Agreements, and ancillary drafts - Problem-solving skills to resolve problems in a multi-product/service environment
