The position in discussion is with the Deal Advisory team at BIG4 Global Services (BIG4), which is FBIG4's global delivery center and is an integral part of the firm's strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.

BIG4 Deal Advisory Group is a team of over 800 professionals based in Gurugram and Bengaluru.

M&A and Valuation Services team within BIG4 Deal Advisory is a 90+ member team and supports BIG4 Valuation, M&A, and Capital Advisory (CAG) teams globally across engagement / deal lifecycle.

Roles and responsibilities :

We are recruiting for a Associate Consultant in the team. Working as a Associate Consultant in this team, your responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for the analysis of financials, generating and analysing of research information, preparation of company profiles and proposal supporting documents

- Proficiency with relative valuations and market multiples;

- Perform company and industry research;

- Good working knowledge of Intrinsic valuations (creating and reviewing DCF models);

- Developing buy side and sell side pitches, valuation of companies ;

- Stay informed of current business, economic and regulatory developments relevant to our clients; and

- Establish strong professional relationships with onshore team members

Essential skills required: Pitch book,Equity research,Financial Modeling,Financial Database (capital IQ, Merger Market as more) is must.

Education / professional qualifications :

- MBA / CFA / CA / MRICS (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management)

Prior Experience :

The candidate must have 1 to 7 years of working experience in either corporate roles, investment banks,Equity Research or similar analytical/ deal experience, Financial Analysis, Valuation & Pitch support (buy side, sell side); Cash flow

Project and Team management exposure :

- Credible record of operating as an independent contributor and also working as part of a team during larger projects

- High problem solving skills; ability to drive through to an outcome in circumstances of complexity and ambiguity

- Goal driven - should be focused on helping clients meet their requirements - by developing answers and solutions when client requirement remains unclear / changes, and by providing relevant insights and key questions to fit the client objective

Technical skills :

- Understanding and exposure to accounting and financial statements analysis;

- Proficiency in using research databases like Capital IQ, Merger Market, Bloomberg, Factiva, Thomson Reuters and others.

- Good understanding of corporate finance principles, corporate transactions, valuation techniques

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power point;

- A commercial outlook and a good understanding of the general business and economic environment

- Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
