- Our Client provides services across government sectors, with over 250 specialists assigned full-time to its practice. For over 15 years, they have been part of the national and state-level sectoral reform programmes, which include areas such as fiscal and governance, pension and insurance, education and health, social sector, municipal, power and infrastructure sectors.

- Working closely with clients in the public sector as well as across in Private sector, Banks and financing industry and various state and central ministries / regulators, they provide services in areas including policy and strategy development, public private partnerships, financial restructuring, service delivery, performance improvement, institutional strengthening and capacity building, accounting and financial management systems, human resource development, etc.

- They have successfully created opportunities for strategic change and enhancement of institutional capacity. This practice has a wide spectrum of experience cutting across sectors, bringing with it cross learnings in issues, resolutions and best practices.

- The team works across a wide variety of areas based on emerging market trends and opportunities. The candidate will need to develop proficiency across these over a period of time based on available opportunities. Some of the key work areas include:

Job Description :

- Market entry and Investment decision making support

- Experience in financial modelling, financial analysis, bid advisory, commercial and financial due diligence

- Support in creation of bidding consortiums, supporting JV and MOU between parties

- Policy formulation and advocacy, program formulation

- Project design and capacity building

- Improvement of operational efficiency of organizations / business units or projects

- Business plan and strategy

- Technology adoption and implementation

- Capital project development and program management

Domain specific areas of work :

- Energy management plan and strategy including energy cost optimization

- Annual business plan of utilities

- Regulatory support to multiple stakeholders in the value chain

- Project risk assessment

- Improving energy efficiency and optimizing returns

- Engineering Graduates with an MBA from top Business schools with limited experience in Energy sector are also welcome to apply.

- The role provides opportunity to work directly with senior executives including secretaries and other senior officials. Typical projects involve regular travel and in some cases extended stay in tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

- The candidate should be self disciplined and self motivated as he would be required to display ability to innovate, create lasting relationships and work independently with little supervision.
