Assistant Manager - CoE Transportation - Chemicals/Pharma/FMCG

Job Purpose: To lead Warehousing Excellence for Deliver Function.

Dimensions of this role:

- Region: PAN India (FMCG & ICD business)

- Internal Stakeholders: SC Operations team & IT team

Key Responsibilities:

- Part of Center of Excellence team for deliver function.

- Leading transportation excellence for Primary Inbound & Outbound freight, along with secondary outbound freight

- Lead transformational projects in transportation in coordination with operations and IT after closing on the business need for implementation and benefits in process improvement.

- Cascade/training in case of change in existing process or new project implementation.

- Ensure timely resolution by IT support of incidents/requests raised by business so that transportation operations are not impacted.

- Maintain process controls to ensure WOW as per SOP. Supporting internal and external audits as well.

- Renew CCN (Contract Change Note) & releasing POs to the third party for their support services in day-to-day operations. Involves FTE estimation, Scope of work finalization, manpower management as well.

Experience/Technical Skills Required:

- Expertise in Transportation Operations & SAP, OTM

- Experience of FMCG operations

- Drive improvement to the solution on a continuous basis to achieve excellence

- Good communication skills

- Analytical ability

- Project Lifecycle Management (Design, UAT, Go-live, PGLS)
