Assistant Manager - Client Relationship - Advertising Firm (4-10 yrs)

Summary of Role:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for the continued development of the successful panel and ensuring the continued provision of a high-quality service to a broad range of clients across the entire panel. He/ She will be expected to build relationships with Senior Management and network at industry events.

Account Service :

Client Servicing:

- Establish, develop and maintain positive working relationships with client contacts at all levels at all times.

- Maintain a consistent servicing schedule with all clients and ensure all materials used for the service are thoroughly checked and accurate.

- Document all requests and comments made by clients to ensure timely feedback and follow-up actions and escalate to Account Director

- Continually innovate, develop and suggest enhancements to the client servicing function such as new methods of analysis or service techniques.

- Ability to develop and deliver high-quality presentations to clients and retailers where required.

- Assist in the training of new Client Service personnel on software applications and client servicing techniques.

- Manage the recruitment, servicing and relationship-building of retailers as indicated by the Business Group Director.

- Assist the Retailer Service department with presentations to retailers on the specific market/ industry.

Processes & Data Quality :

- Understanding & following of Systems, Process and Research Methodology

- Ensure full knowledge of retail audit methodologies and definitions, fully understand and apply the data control procedures and techniques.

- Responsible for maintaining the deadlines set for data control submission and ensuring that all data submitted to Operations is confirmed received and follow up until all data files are received.

- Plan and set, in consultation with the Field Manager, market visits to learn how data is collected and the universe checked, and to increase channel and product awareness.

Data Quality & Internal co-operation :

- Whenever needed, propose and discuss possible recruitment methods through existing commercial experiences.

- Ensure accurate market modeling measures are adopted for a robust product

- Maintain a positive working relationship with the other Client Service and Field personnel at all times.

- Whenever required, assist field/retailer service teams in recruiting Retailer for co-operation.

Market Knowledge:

- Market Expert: Maintain up to date market knowledge on all product categories audited by undertaking regular market visits, to keep abreast of the current and future market offerings, and regularly performing model comparisons to build a high level of product knowledge.

- Understand the channel definition, track existing channels and monitor the development of new channels. Keep all stakeholders informed.

Skills :

- Ability to grasp and quickly understand markets, methodologies and techniques.

- Able to set up product category and extrapolation.

- 100% stand-alone with clients including client and retailer presentations

- Ability to manage a project through all steps from inception to delivery to client

- Ability to provide a consultancy-style service to all clients

- Good organizer with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

- Sound analytical skills and the ability to interpret research data accurately.

- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

- Good presentation skills; able to generate interest and engages the client during presentations

- Ability to maintain a positive, motivational, - get things done- attitude, especially when faced with difficult circumstances.

- Good relationship building skills (internal, external, and cross-cultural).

- Well-developed interpersonal skills for the internal and external client; Problem-solving skills.

- Sound computer skills, especially in the areas of MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
