Role: Assistant Manager - Central Procurement
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of 10+ procurement executives for rapid fulfillment of enterprise client orders
- Working closely with the business leaders to translate business requirements into SOPs
- Formulating and institutionalizing SOPs, and tracking compliance
- Generating and developing relationships with suppliers of industrial goods and get best in market quotes to serve client orders
- Negotiating with suppliers/vendors and clients to maximize margins
- Liaising with Accounts and Logistics teams ensure timely order fulfillment to the clients, and to receive supplier payments
- Managing and driving staffing plans, schedule, quality and process change initiatives
- Monitoring the performance of the executives
Does this sound like you? Must haves:
- 3+ years of experience as either a Manager in Central Operations teams handling at least 10+ executives in a high growth start-up, or as a Manager in Central Procurement function of mid-large enterprises
- Strong track record of working closely with the business leaders to translate business requirements into SOPs of a Central Team
- Strong client service skills and a passion to deliver flawless client experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficient with MS Office
Preferred:
- Experience of working in a B2B procurement environment
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Compensation: Minimum 12 LPA
