Assistant Manager - Catalogue Operations - eCommerce (4-7 yrs)

AM : Catalogue Operations


As the Assistant Manager of Catalog Operations:

- You will be responsible for leading and managing the Catalog team nationally to maximize customer experience (B2B/B2C) and positively impact our growth metrics. This role provides opportunities to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions in a competitive and ever-changing business climate.

- Providing a top-notch product discovery experience is what empowers our customers to make informed purchase decisions. This is dependent on the quality of our product catalog. A high quality catalog has every product associated with a structured and accurate set of attributes which is constantly kept up-to-date.

- You will have operational experience in handling day-to-day operations (eg: Seller/Vendor operations, Catalog Ops) in an eCommerce/food-tech - rm.

- You will have experience collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders such as product, merchandising, sourcing, category, supply chain and external vendor partners.

- Operating in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment you will work autonomously taking full control and responsibility for achieving business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Design long-term solutions that can drive operational efficiency at scale within our Catalog operations team


2. Implement/Execute these scalable processes and solutions nationally to improve quality and effectiveness


3. Bring in fresh ideas related to Content Writing, Photo-shoot, Styling, Editing, QC, Product upload


4. Setup the required infrastructure, manpower planning and recruitment for growth and expansion requirements


5. Collaborate closely with Product and Tech to bring in latest innovations to drive automation


6. Collaborate closely with Supply Chain for B2B/B2C Catalog process improvements


7. High attention to detail, comfortable with "hands-on" management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously


8. Drive processes such as market research in terms of cataloging standards across competition


9. Numbers driven: Ensure a high quality day-to-day benchmark metrics for Catalog Accuracy


10. Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports and detailed analysis on product creation and modification


11. Mentor, lead and guide a team with varied skill-sets

REQUIREMENTS:


- 4-7 years in Operations related roles in leading eCommerce / Retail / Food-tech Firms


- Experience handling a large team
