Assistant Manager - Business Development - Integrated Logistics Solutions

Key Responsibilities:

- Target top corporate in India for the business development and for providing Integrated Logistics Solutions through various business offerings of the company

- Develop large and mid-size MNC and Indian corporate, work on a target account list within area of geographic responsibility and work proactively to personally develop business opportunities and secure customers for all the verticals of the company:

a) Freight Forwarding (Ocean and Air)

b) CFS/ICD

c) Contract Logistics

d) Project Forwarding and Equipment rental

e) Coastal Shipping

- Generate new leads for business development and secure businesses for various verticals.

- Work with a sense of URGENCY and work collaboratively with verticals /counterparts and showcase sales leadership to develop/close business strategies that are consistent with the market to maximize margins and increase revenue growth with personally closing large corporate businesses through RFQs or personally developing relationships with strategic customers across India.

- Capitalize on value creation through Integrated Logistics play; identify opportunities by working closely with the potential and existing customer to develop creative workable solutions customized to customer needs.

- Facilitate cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships in order to better penetrate the market.

- Prepare comprehensive opportunity monitoring tools and monthly management reports including revenue and GP progress against targets.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Graduate (Preferably BE) / MBA/ PG Diploma or Degree in Business Management

- 4 - 5 years of business development experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry.

Candidates with integrated logistics solution selling / business development experience will also be considered.

Salary Range: 9 - 10 LPA
