JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Designation: Assistant Manager - Activation - Frozen & F&V

Grade: Level 5 (Assistant Manager - Activation)

Function : Marketing

Directly reports to: Marketing Head (Frozen & F&V)

Indirectly reports to: None

Experience 8-10 Years

Age < 35 years

Education qualification MBA - Sales & Marketing / PG in Management

Location Gurgaon

Target industry Food & Beverages / FMCG

Responsibilities

Generate awareness and trial on both brands via BTL activation from end to end :

- Creation of a robust activation plan

- Superior execution of the plan in coordination with multiple stake holders

- Constant monitoring & course correction if needed on the go.

Ensure deep understanding of the market and consumer to identify need gaps and give relevant solutions via

- Shopper & consumer behavior

- Market Visits

Strong coordination with the Sales team

- Work closely with the Brand Manager to ensure there is synergy in the brand thinking & all activation are a part of the larger brand positioning

- Responsible to execute all activities on the brand i.e events, chef meets and tie ups with prominent establishments to enhance brand/product presence.

KEY TASKS:

Marketing Campaign execution

Responsible to execute the marketing strategy of the Frozen & Fresh Category via a strong activation plan

- Explore market best activation solutions and develop an activation plan

- Ensure superior coordination with external agencies ( advertising, BTL etc ) and internal stakeholders ( sales team, marketing team) for the smooth & timely running of all activities

- Management and monitoring of a network of people ( promoters etc) to ensure they are delivering on the required brand targets.

- Innovative thinking to create unique solutions as these are new categories

- Understanding of both B2C and B2B market and tailor make plans accordingly

Communication:

- Execute the overall brand communication strategy on ground

- Ensure timely execution of all BTL communication

- Ensure strong on ground presence via superior POS activation

- Drive synergy of communication across all platforms ensuring the brand has one voice to the consumer.

- Develop innovative, creative and unique approaches to communication both in content and medium of communication

Critical Challenges

a. Establishing new B2B and B2C categories

b. Working with tight budgets & need to build innovative cost effective approach

Key Knowledge and Skills

- Strong experience in the brand activation field. Could be from the agency. Ideally with high impact FMCG brands in the categories of packaged food, beverages

- Should have demonstrated Superior execution capabilities

- Innovative, proactive approach to projects, high energy levels

- Attention to detail & Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines

- Ability to Manage people - internal and external including agencies and cross functional teams

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Travel would be high and work experience across multiple metros would be a plus
