JD:
- We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Assistant Manager - Accounts who is well-versed in Expense Management, Vendor Payment Management, Cash Flow Management, and has a strong understanding of TDS and GST.
- The ideal candidate will either be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or have attempted the CA exams, and will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Expense Management:
- Oversee and manage company expenses, ensuring they are within budget and properly documented.
- Review and approve expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
Vendor Payment Management:
- Manage vendor payments, ensuring they are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable terms.
- Resolve any discrepancies in vendor invoices and payments.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity and support operational needs.
- Prepare and present cash flow forecasts and reports to management.
- Liaise with banks and financial institutions for cash management activities.
TDS Management:
- Ensure proper calculation and deduction of TDS on all applicable payments.
- Timely filing of TDS returns and issuance of TDS certificates to relevant parties.
- Handle TDS-related assessments and respond to any queries from tax authorities.
GST Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely filing of GST returns.
- Manage GST reconciliation and handle any discrepancies.
- Address GST-related audits, assessments, and queries from tax authorities.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports on cash flow, expenses, TDS, and GST for management review.
Audit and Compliance:
- Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits and provide required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations related to financial management, TDS, and GST.
