- Develop retail strategy, recommend seasonal sales targets, and manage reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for retail location(s)
- Delivering market studies, trend updates and competition analysis on key financial, operational, customer and product parameters to facilitate business decisions for team and the Board
- Develop topline business review of business vs plan (sales, margin, inventory, and turn)
- Create, run and present multiple reports as needed on company and competitor store location strategy, along with other reporting in response to strategic and tactical decision-making and research.
- Create and manage quarterly new store over/under performance reporting and in-depth analysis, including establishment and leadership of accompanying review meetings with Operations.
- Responsible for charting out pricing strategy, Inventory management, Channel Partner Activation & reward schemes, Sales Manager Incentives, Database mining & targeted Marketing, controlling cost of client Acquisition, Loyalty discounts, Drafting the Sales note.
- Generates new business development opportunities
- Present new site information regarding to monthly executive Retail Committee as needed, including information related to store performance, cannibalization, surrounding area strategy, competition, or broader company objectives.
- Provide data driven recommendations and strategies to Retail team members based on analyses and research findings.
- Provides strategic leadership to the retail mall and Planning + Design Practice
- Ongoing review of existing markets to ensure portfolio optimization in response to shifting industry and market trends, including the ongoing analysis of new store performance/profitability, characteristics, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and manage Portfolio metrics and benchmarks
- Execute on the strategic plan while interacting with internal stakeholders
- Understanding the requirements of our operational teams and develop solutions that meet those objectives.
- Preparation and presentation of transaction summaries to the senior management team regarding progress, financial implications and site readiness.
- Management of multiple contract negotiations simultaneously.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA/PGDM in from premier B school with at least 3 to 8 years of experience in Strategy and planning areas preferably in Retail space.
- An experience of 3 to 8 years with retail strategy with a real estate firm.
