Assistant General Manager - Regulatory Affairs - Power Sector

Description - To lead and govern regulatory management function for the business to build a lasting and sustainable asset management capability to deliver premier performance for power transmission assets operation and maintenance.

Client Details :

They are India's first listed power sector infrastructure investment trust (InvIT), sponsored by KKR and SPGVL.

As of September 2020, they own 11 revenue-generating, operating assets, spanning over 28 transmission lines, spread across 6280 circuit KMs and 9 substations with 11,460 MVA transformation capacity across fourteen states and one Union Territory

Description :

- Ensures that business operates in accordance with regulatory framework and develop internal policies/procedures which are consistently adhered at each of project sites.

- Serve as the key support for government bodies for complex, high visibility or critical contracts related to regulatory and contract matters

- Serve as the point of contact for business on regulatory matters

Profile :

- Understand the applicable central/state regulations/acts, develop and execute regulatory strategy/framework and operating governance to meet asset management deliverables. E.g Electricity Act, ISTS, TSA, RSA, BCD-2010 etc and statutory bodies like CEA,CERC,CTU,RPC's POSOCO,SLDC,RLDC etc

- Identify regulatory and associated market threats / opportunities, develop mitigating plans that maintain / add value to the asset management portfolio.

- Providing regulatory guidelines/guidance for maintaining / adding value to existing assets.

- Develop internal policies/procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
