Candidates having MBA / PGDBM qualification will be preferred. - Prior Experience in Earth moving/ Automobile / Heavy Engineering Industry in Purchase / Supply Chain Functions Job Description : - To coordinate closely with engineering team for new product development and hold timeline and cost budget. - Tap new technologies, materials, and processes and plan its implementation. - Coordinate global suppliers for innovative products, aggregates and systems including electrification. - Continuously drive cost reduction initiatives across products, systems. - Coordinate with peer teams within organization, create MIS reports. - Lead the team for achievement of individual and team targets in line with organizational objectives. Candidate Profile : - Should have handled Purchase / SCM / Sourcing function in an independent capacity. - Should have thorough understanding of New Product Development lifecycle, Strategic sourcing, Supplier Identification and Evaluation, Component development cycle. - Should be able to co-ordinate with internal stakeholders like QA, Engineering, Production, Sales and Marketing seamlessly. - Should be a team player with excellent communication skill, and should be able to plan, co-ordinate and implement the projects independently - Must have highly developed skills for cost monitoring, VA-VE, validation with a focus on setting up MIS &amp; tracking mechanism for yearly targets &amp; trends. - Should have good understanding of manufacturing processes, new technologies, and other improvement tools. - Should have hands on experience of any ERP (SAP preferred) especially on MM module.
