Job Description:

About the Role:

- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant General Manager to lead and grow our MSME credit portfolio.

- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the MSME sector, credit risk assessment, and portfolio management.

- This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership and interpersonal skills to drive business growth and manage credit risk effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Management:

- Oversee the entire MSME credit portfolio, including credit quality, growth, and profitability.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the portfolio's risk-return profile.

- Monitor and manage credit risk, including early warning signals and delinquency management.

Credit Risk Assessment:

- Lead the credit assessment process for MSME loan applications.

- Develop and refine credit underwriting policies and procedures.

- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and industry trends to assess creditworthiness.

- Identify potential credit risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Business Development:

- Develop and implement strategies to expand the MSME customer base.

- Identify new business opportunities and develop tailored credit products.

- Build strong relationships with MSME customers, industry associations, and other stakeholders.

Team Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of credit analysts and relationship managers.

- Set performance goals and objectives for the team.

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable MSME credit regulations and guidelines.

- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualification: Mandatory - Graduate in any discipline.

Preferred: Post-Graduation Degree/Diploma in Management with Specialization in Finance / Banking/ Forex / Credit OR CA / CMA / CFA.

Experience:


- Minimum of 10 Years' of post qualification experience of Credit appraisal, preferably in MSME Banking with any Bank/ NBFC/Financial Institutions in India out of which 1 Year of experience at Senior / Head level position in relevant field, equivalent to Scale IV and above in the Bank.

- In-depth understanding of the MSME sector, including business models, challenges, and opportunities.

- Strong credit risk assessment and underwriting skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
