Assistant General Manager - Human Resources - eCommerce - IIM/XLRI/TISS/SCMHRD (7-11 yrs)
Key Responsibilities
Manpower Budgeting:
- Participate in manpower planning & budgeting exercise for the business with a focus on productivity and optimum utilization of manpower
- Support domain teams in the alignment of organization design to business strategy Identify issues and process gaps to improve alignment, manpower productivity and minimize redundancies
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
- Guide the TA team and ensure hiring as per the approved manpower budget
- Work towards standardizing onboarding experience of new employees across locations,
Performance Management:
- Drive the Performance Management process for all the functions as per the PMS guidelines across locations
- Provide coaching and support to managers on corrective action items including performance improvement plans and discipline issues.
- Guide the HR Team on monitoring the productivity of the field staff
Talent Management:
- Work with the OD team and conduct assessment centers to identify the employees for the next level roles
- Work with L&D team, devise training modules for employees failing to clear the assessments
Learning & Development:
- Conduct a need analysis and identify the capability gaps in the current employees across functions
- Work with the L&D SPOC, devise training programs based on the need analysis and gaps identified
Compensation and Benefits Management:
- Lead and manage the C&B process as per business requirement and aligning with the corporate C&B guidelines
- Benchmarking business compensation and payout structure
- Lead the annual increment, promotions, and manpower budget exercise.
- Work with the finance team to execute the strategy as per the business planning
Employee Engagement:
- Guide the HR team at various locations to conduct engagement activities like family day, safety week, carnival, Rewards & Recognitions festival and birthday celebrations, sports activities etc -
- Conduct town hall communications, open house, skip-level meetings, team off-sites as per HR Calendar
- Lead the employee engagement survey, idea fest - innovation platform and develop interventions basis action points from employees
Compliance, Policies & Procedures:
- Work with legal to ensure legal compliance. Act as a liaison to government compliance agencies as required.
- Ensure consistent application of policies/procedures including but not limited to recruiting, training, reward & recognition and associate development.
Employee Relations:
- Facilitate resolutions when associate-to-associate or manager-to- associate conflict arises.
- Investigate (interview, gather evidence, consult legal) allegations of employee misconduct including harassment, discrimination, etc. Guide management on disciplinary and termination procedures.
Educational & Experience requirements:
- MBA from the premier institute
- 7+ years of experience
