About Us: Hiring for renowned consumer durables brand, committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to join our team as the AGM / DGM - Zonal HR East, based in Kolkata. In this role, you will play a critical role in managing HR functions for the Eastern region, with a primary focus on supporting our Sales, Service, and Marketing teams.
Job Summary: The AGM / DGM - Zonal HR East will be responsible for overseeing all HR functions for the Eastern region, with a specific emphasis on effectively managing the Sales, Service, and Marketing teams. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and practices to support the achievement of business objectives. Additionally, the role will require leadership and supervision of a team of 3-4 direct reports.
1. HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals, ensuring that the Eastern region contributes to the overall success of the organization.
2. Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment efforts for the Sales, Service, and Marketing teams, including workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of top talent.
3. Performance Management: Implement performance appraisal systems and processes, ensuring performance targets are met, and career development plans are in place.
4. Employee Relations: Foster positive employee relations by addressing employee concerns, conducting grievance resolution, and promoting a culture of open communication and collaboration.
5. Training and Development: Identify training needs, design training programs, and facilitate skill development initiatives to enhance employee capabilities.
6. Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, incentive schemes, and benefits administration, to attract and retain top talent.
7. HR Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, and manage HR-related documentation, audits, and reporting for the region.
8. Employee Engagement: Develop and execute engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, productivity, and retention.
9. Change Management: Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and the adoption of new processes and policies.
10. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 3-4 direct reports, fostering their professional growth and development.
- MBA HR (Tier 1 /Tier 2)
- Proven experience in HR leadership roles, with at least 6 years of experience in managing HR functions in a large organization.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in India.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
- Result-oriented with a focus on achieving business goals through effective HR strategies.
