Duties/Responsibilities/Activities

- Detailed study of tenders, technical specifications, commercial conditions, drawings, BOQ etc

- Preparation of project brief/ synopsis

- Identification of bought out items and floating enquiries

- Coordination with MEP/ Procurement tea, for external quotes

- Preparation of prebid queries, attending pre and post tender meetings

- Ensuring that estimation is ready for review 4-5 days before submission

- Site Visit and survey with team to prepare the estimation after taking impact of geography, and other important factors

- Compiling data & making comparatives

- Rate Analysis of BOQ items - direct cost/ indirect cost/ overheads

- Coordination and follow up with internal departments during tendering

- To accompany procurement, P&M during their meeting with vendors

- Searching Vendors/ Suppliers of Materials/ Equipment/ Hiring of New Tender/ Project

- Collecting, Preparing & Maintaining database for various activity from ongoing/ completed site/ works

- Maintaining Project wise Tender files as per ISO procedure

- Creation of Data Bank

- Coordination with in-house design teams and external design consultants

- Must have handled tendering & estimation related to above type of projects in any civil contracting company for at least 5years in past.

- Must have done detail estimation of quantities, rates for various components of work and per defined scope in line with Specifications

- Must be well versed with detail rate analysis of for all related items from first principal

- Must have knowledge related to prevalent Codes, Specification, Contract in India

- Must be aware of prevailing market trend
