Description :
- Support the company in all long-term Contract Logistics projects and process improvement initiatives to accommodate business growth and requirements.
- Meet budgetary goals including gaining new business, sourcing new profitable clients as well as maintaining, up-selling of existing clients and volumes.
- Manage the whole warehouse operations to deliver high standard of service level in the warehouse operations.
- Drive warehouse performance to achieve cost targets, develop action plans to improve productivities and efficiencies; Ensure activities meet with organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.
- Lead and manage a team of Solution Manager, Solution Executive & Couple of Assistant Managers.
- Manage P/L of warehouse closely; Plan, recommend and execute P/L improvement projects.
- Ensure continuous improvement on contract logistics operating practices and procedures, communicate with business units to standardize and streamline the operations.
Key Deliverables/Outcomes :
- The person will have a chance to work with the German counterparts and also will have a chance to be a part of an exponentially growing business.
- The person can eventually move to P&L Head if he comes with sound operational background and ability to manage a business P&L.
Profile :
- At least 4-5 years of experience operationally with a total of 15-20 years.
- Ability to design warehouse, identify storage media, volume & size, identify equipment needs.
- Similar solutions rolled out previously (Roll out experience).
- Industry experience & use of technology in the area.
- Conversion history (how many major and minor RFQ's and number of solutions offered).
