Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Credit Control - Mining/Steel

Chartered Accountant : 15 + years of experience

Job Purpose :

- Monthly book closure activities which involves correctness and accuracy of expense accounting, vendor liabilities, advances recovery & control of key GL reconciliations.

- Drive performance, development, and operational effectiveness of the Collections function.

- Provide inputs to management on cash flows commitments. MIS Reporting.

Control on Dr & Cr Note transactions. Maintenance of accounting hygiene. Profitability & Contribution Reporting.

- Internal & Statutory Audit requirements.

- Legal & Statutory compliances related to Company Law, Direct Taxation & Indirect Taxation.

- Digitisation & Key process automation.

- Implementation of corrective actions for deviations in the budget

- Timely preparation of budget/MIS.

- Closure of Internal Audit action points.

Key Accountabilities :

Key Accountability Major Activities/ Tasks

Monthly Closing & Quarterly Audit :

- Monthly closing activities involving provisioning, accurate income & expense accounting, vendor liabilities, GL Account reconciliation

- Providing financial assistance in improvement drives, Strategic alliances, Stretched projects, negotiations.

- Variance analysis of operating results on monthly basis with respect to budget.

- Identify control points and monitor monthly expense against the budget. Support the group from finance perspective

MIS Reporting :

- Responsible for preparing high level MIS reports for the management.

- Preparation of supporting reports for monthly MIS. Management of various databases and reports

- Knowledge of advance Excel - Pivot Tables, charts, Advance excel Formulas

- Preparing and updating Dashboard

- MIS and preparation of relevant reports with variances analysed and reported to management regularly.

- MIS reporting on Debtors/ Sales/NSR/Cost/Contribution & EBIDTA Analysis & expense V/s Annual Budget

- Monthly Dashboard preparation

Profitability & Contribution Reporting :

- Sales/NSR/Cost/Contribution & EBIDTA expense V/s Annual Budget

- Control and reporting on Debtors (ageing)& Security received
