Assistant General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Contracts - Real Estate (12-20 yrs)
Real Estate Experienced candidates from Bangalore preferred who can relocate to Mumbai
Objective of the Role:
Oversee the contracts division. Ensure all contracts awarded are within estimated costs, high on quality & deliverable and well documented within legal guidelines and terminologies.
Skill & know how:
- Knowledge of contract management
- Risk assessment and management
- Excellent technical & commercial acumen
- Knowledge of contract law & legal interpretation
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the tendering process for various projects.
- Implement processes and systems for efficient handling of contracts.
- Value Engineering, contract administration & expand vendor database.
- Monitor pre-qualification of contractors based on project value.
- Scrutinize contractor's capabilities and credentials. Oversee technical evaluations of submitted tender proposals, rate analysis, terms and conditions.
- Negotiate with potential contractors and evaluate and execute the entire contract process.
- Establish strategic relations with service providers and work at reducing cost of construction.
- Ensure reduction in lead times for timely delivery of projects.
- Build and sustain relationships for strategic and operational contracts. Provide decision on pricing, service provider's agreements and deliveries.
- Monitor MIS function of the dept.
- Vendor risk management: Conduct assessment and interpretation of contracts with a primary focus on reducing and mitigating contractual risks associated with services being provided.
- Interpret requirements of the contract.
