Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Commercial Head to lead the commercial and financial operations of our electronics business based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the electronics, manufacturing, or technology sectors. This role is pivotal in driving commercial excellence, cost optimization, and overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Strategy & Execution:

- Define and implement commercial strategy aligned with business growth plans

- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and profitability analysis

- Manage costing, margin improvement, and business performance initiatives

- Drive working capital efficiency through effective receivables, payables, and inventory control

Financial Planning & Analysis:

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the leadership team

- Track KPIs and performance metrics for all business verticals

- Support strategic business decisions, investments, and new market evaluations

Risk Management & Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and internal audit requirements

- Mitigate commercial risks through robust contract management and controls

- Liaise with auditors, legal advisors, banks, and government authorities

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead and mentor teams across commercial, finance, and procurement functions

- Collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, and Procurement teams

- Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

Candidate Profile:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - mandatory

- 15+ years of post-qualification experience in commercial finance, business strategy, or operations

- Proven leadership experience in the electronics, manufacturing, or industrial sector

- Hands-on expertise in SAP / Oracle ERP systems

- Strong financial acumen, commercial negotiation skills, and business analysis capabilities

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Background:

- Exposure to international operations, exports, or multi-location setups

- Experience in a mid-to-large scale electronics or technology-driven company

- Prior involvement in capex planning, automation, or digital transformation projects
