Job Title Assistant Fund Manager - Private Equity

Reporting to Head of Private Equity

Main Role (Overall accountability):

Part of the Bank's Private Equity team that is involved in investment management activities for the Real Estate Funds, OMFI, Money Market Fund, etc

Assist in the management of investments and funds including researching, underwriting, structuring, monitoring, reporting and arbitrage of investments.

Principal Accountabilities

- Assist in identifying and analyzing investment opportunities in GCC region

- Assist in screening, site visits, research, financial modeling, review of contracts, etc. to develop commercial term sheets and investment committees on the basis of investment objectives of the fund and market requirements

- Assist in negotiations with sellers/banks, due diligence and closure of approved investments

- Create and track cash flows with different scenario and investment strategies

- Monitoring of investments and reporting performance

- Insure proper corporate management of property companies and other SPVs in coordination with back office and business management teams

- Prepare investor updates as required and quarterly investor reporting

- Interact with advisors such as legal, accounting, technical, etc. as may be required to support the Fund Manager

- Prepare, co-ordinate and follow up of investment proposals for approvals

- Assist in maintaining and developing external vendor/ partnering relationships to support investment management activities as required

- Assist in implementing investment strategies for portfolios and/or individual asset including valuations, hold/sell and financing/refinancing scenarios

- Ensure the maintenance of due records of all investment management activities and documentation in accordance with specified procedures

- Support conceptualization of new products and support business development activities for new fund raising or bespoke investments or managements solutions for new and existing clients

Personnel Specifications :

- Master of Business Administration (MBA)

- Minimum of 5-7 years experience in private equity, investment management and/or advisory with a good understanding of financial markets

- High analytical abilities

- Good written & oral communication skills in English

- Ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines

- Worked in multi-cultural environment
