Assistant Director - Product Management - Network Security (12-20 yrs)
- BS/BTech degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of progressive experience in a product management role within network security product company
- Proven experience providing roadmaps, product overviews, reports, backlog and documentation for enterprise technology solutions.
- Ability to translate business requirements to technology architecture plans
Networking technology domain expertise which includes:
- Network security
- Networking concepts, ports, protocols, firewalls, load balancers, IPS
- Network engineering, design, architecture and/or operations
- Network traffic analysis
- Knowledge of the latest networking and security trends
- Experience delivering within cloud-based environments & applications
- Experience in continuous delivery using Agile delivery concepts and toolkits
- Strong influence and negotiating skills, and the ability to overcome barriers and resistance to execute against strategic plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of a large enterprise organization.
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies in a rapidly changing environment
- Experience working both independently and in a virtual, collaborative environment is essential.
- Expertise in Agile and can work with at least one of the common frameworks
- Ability to identify network attacks and systemic security issues as they relate to threats and vulnerabilities, with focus on recommendations for enhancements or remediation
Preferred Experience/Skill
- CCNA / CCNP
