Assistant Director/Director - Legal & Contracts

Required Experience:

Post Graduate in Law, with relevant detailed experience.

Work experience of atleast 11-12+ years in the formal legal cell especially of few Global IT services / IT Product companies / ITES Companies (especially those whose customers are linked to geographies of US and Europe (its preferable only). However, these preferences may not be crucial if the candidate is a super-exceptional one.

Experience:

- Working knowledge, understanding & experience on matters like (just to name a few):

- Various legal compliance matters in a global IT & ITES company,

- Various contractuals terms between generic IT services clients & partners (MSAs, SOWs, Teaming agreements, Client Partner agreements, SI agreements, Reseller Agreements, LOIs),

- Other generic legal contracts and agreements - relating to employment, employees, contractors, vendors, real estate dealings & other logistical dealings.

- Corporate Restructuring matters including M&As, Capital restructuring etc.

- IPR matters (trademark, copyright, patent), licencing issues, End User Licencing agreement handlings etc.

- Understanding on Arbitration and Litigation matters, will be added advantage.

- Direct interaction with Senior Internal Sales /Delivery team along with Overseas Customers is a very essential part of the job - and hence assertive business communication skill & experience is a critical requirement.
