Assistant or Deputy Manager - Cost Estimation - Mechanical

This position reports to Head Estimation

BE / B.Tech - Mechanical (Regular)

Job Objective:

To carry out internal estimation process for preparation of cost estimates for budget or to provide baseline value for procurement proposals for big size project - capex business.

Responsibilities :

- Ensure Preparation cost estimate and its review Mechanical as per requirement for BU procurement activities

- Coordinate with Category management team / Engg/ Project team to get technical details for estimation requirements

- Support to Business development in providing cost estimates for bidding purpose

- Explore opportunities for enhancing efficiency in estimation processes

- Develop & Maintain BU specific standard cost templates and processes

- Follow standard templates released by CPO for common items and input for any improvement required in templates

- Review the cost estimates with the actual value of procurement to understand accuracy of estimates

- Digitalisation of cost estimate processes to reduce response lead time and improve accuracy.

- Provide support in seeking opportunities to improve efficiency and value

- Conduct data analysis in own area of work and take informed actions basis the same

- Keeping track of project execution with help of planning team with a view to complete a particular project on time and to avoid excess cost.

- Preparation of MIS as per management requirements.

- Preparation of cash flow of project

- Must have prior experience in SAP / MS Office
