Job Responsibilities:
- Follow up with Operations Manager/Trade Manager/ Agency Manager on the day to day activities and supervise the functioning of each department and report to GM.
- Implementing deployments, diversions, Port omission's etc. decisions on JV / company vessels in
- Consultation with GM.
- Assist GM on new projects/services by carrying out the service viability in terms of operating cost /revenue/schedule viability.
- Study capacity requirement in the existing services by monitoring the capacity utilization against the tonnage deployed on regular basis to carry out any tonnage adjustment as deemed necessary.
- Interact with JV /Consortium partners for any service enhancement or services related issues.
- Monitoring partner's vessels /Competition vessels performance in terms of operations/utilization at various location and compiling report to submit to GM.
- Monitor the weekly/Monthly P &l reports of the services and in consultation with GM work out the plan for improvising the services and operational performance.
- Coordinate with Port/Terminals for Terminal service agreement and vessel performance related matter.
- Monitor vessels operating costs injunction with Operations manager to ensure the vessels are operated within the budgeted cost.
- To render planning support to Operations team to ensure highest level of vessel utilization on cargo intake.
- Monitor cargo claims / Vessel claims in liaison with claims department to ensure Group interest is protect at all times.
- Monitor Own / Partner vessels schedules and ensuring the schedule integrity is maintained and report to GM on the schedule related matter.
- Timely review of Operation /Trade/Agency department SOP to be carried out to be in line with the change of local procedures and requirements.
- Setting up SOP for Agents at various location and carry out agency performance review and submit report to GM.
- Reviewing budget cost/operating cost on time to time and try to reduce it.
- Assisting GM during critical periods of weather relates issues /vessels breakdowns/ strikes etc. in liaising with relevant partners/authorities and sending regular updates to various stake holders.
- Carrying out periodic appraisal of Trade/operation/agency department.
- Liaising with Chartering Department for Chartering of vessels for own /JV services.
- Conducting periodic training of Operations/Trade/Agency team.
Note:
Age between 35 - 45 Only. 2 Years work permit with other facilities according to UAE Labour Laws Including 22 Annual Leaves.
