Assistant Consultant/Consultant - Supply Chain Analytics/Strategy/Planning - Consulting Firm (2-6 yrs)
Work as an independent contributor to drive supply chain optimization and implementation projects for our clients
- Prior experience in at least two out of four is a must :
1. Supply Chain Planning (Demand and Supply planning)
2. Optimization (Network, Inventory, and Warehouse optimization)
3. Supply Chain Strategy (Operation Model)
4. Supply Chain Analytics (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python)
- Experience in the implementation of Blue Yonder (JDA), SAP, E2open, BluJay & Oracle SCM solutions would be an added advantage
- Recommending improvements to rally performance and reduce costs
- Coordinating with professionals & clients to implement changes and new systems
- Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects (e.g. warehouse-slotting, route planning)
- Assisting with the Transition strategy tracking, creating/presenting reports and presentations showcasing progress against the strategy
- Develop supply chain requirements and standards
- Discover the most cost-effective solution and execute benchmarking activities
- Evaluate supply chain operations according to quality standards
- Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
Job Requirements
Mandatory Skills
- MBA / Post Graduate / Masters in Supply Chain / Operations Management
- The candidate must have 3-7 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with a consulting firm
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint and Teams) with ability to perform
Analysis from large data sets using Alteryx.
- Experience in building and presenting dashboards using Power BI / Tableau
- Highly articulate with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strategically and commercially minded
- Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data quickly and draw meaningful insights
- Ability to create dashboards, models, trackers, forms etc. would be an added advantage
