Assistant Brand Manager - Consumer Goods (3-4 yrs)

This is an exciting role, which is rooted in an - agile- philosophy and mind set. It is a combination of cross coordination with various function, assisting with market research, consumer understanding, brand building exercise and also showing the creative spark while building assets / launch plans. Very important to remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have the right attitude to own the responsibilities

Responsibilities :

- Building Brand positioning:

- Lead the development of brand positioning, strategy for consistent long term brand planning. Create a roadmap to drive it end to end starting from bringing relevant consumer inputs on the table and completing the exercise with a brand guidelines book covering positioning, brand purpose, insights, manifesto, brand world, values, platform idea etc

- Work with right partners to generate consumer insights to develop brand positioning

- Build communication platform in line with the positioning of brand to further drive brand salience and consumer preference

- Marketing plan & execution:

- Lead the execution of 360 degree marketing plans for one of our category, by collaborating with the ecosystem internal (media, digital, influencers, supply procurement) & external (design & creative agencies, merchandizers, offline & online distributors, auditors etc.). Also to Design and implement all aspects of the GTM for new product launches within the category

- Consumer centricity:

- Be the voice of consumers, be on top of Industry & Market Knowledge & consumer understanding of what do customers buy and why. Develop plans in alignment with category & consumer needs

- Having sound understanding of market research, able to conduct brand tracking and other adhoc projects

- Curious enough to make best use of internal data available (Digital, CRM, sales etc)
 
Experience :

- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration

- 3+ years of work experience in Marketing with B2C exposure

- A proven track record of developing successful brand positioning, and developing brand guidelines

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and driving marketing led executions

- Good understanding of market research/insights. Hands on with brand tracking and diagnostic studies

- Evidence of excellence in achievements in academic and/or non-academic activities

- Leadership/Self-starting/out of the box thinking capabilities, strategic analysis, collaboration skills
