Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Manager to lead the growth and expansion of our Construction Chemicals Business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a proven track record in developing new business and maintaining client relationships in the construction or building materials industry. This role involves leading a team of Managers/Assistant Managers in handling sales and specifications forthe following categories:
- Waterproofing Solutions: Membranes, Liquid Allied Coatings, Sealants
- Industrial Floor Coatings
- Repair & Restorations
- Concrete Admixtures
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, proposals, and forecasts for the region
- Lead a team of specialists, creating pathways for them to achieve individual as well as company level goals. Achieve or exceed sales promise and business growth objectives for the region
- Generate new business opportunities in the waterproofing, flooring, admixtures, and repair product categories by researching market trends and identifying potential customers.
- Drive specifications in government infrastructure, factory, and builder segments.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key clients, including developers, contractors, consultants, architects, government departments, and factories.
- Collaborate with technical teams, brand teams, and R&D to deliver customized waterproofing solutions based on client needs.
- Train and develop Managers, Assistant Managers, and Sales Executives in the region.
- Provide feedback to R&D or technical departments on market needs, product performance, product gaps, and customer challenges.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of local building codes and industry standards related to waterproofing.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with products such as liquid-applied membranes, bituminous systems, polyurethane, Floor Coatings, Concrete Admixtures and Repair Solutions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to lead a team.
