Manager - HR - Bath Business & Systems

Role Description :

Job Purpose : Responsible for all HR processes for the Verticals (Home Improvement and Systems)

Primary Responsibilities :

Business Responsibility Areas :

- Recruitment and Manning: Ensures manning of all positions as per sanctions through planned recruitment and lateral movements. Is involved in the manpower planning discussions with line. Identifies local sources like campus, job hunts etc for planned recruitment

- Induction and On-boarding: Conduct induction of all new hires through a structured program, and on the job training

- L&D: Facilitate identification of training needs for the officers and designs suitable interventions to address the same. Capture training needs through discussions with managers, identifies suitable group level needs that can be addressed. Identifies trainers, and design and deliver training programs. Partner with the function on behavioural/functional capability building programs

Projects :

- Identify and drive key organization development/design initiatives to enable the vertical/function in partnership with the functional stakeholders

- Give inputs for policies and design processes/practices suitable for officers through internal feedback and external benchmarking

- Employee engagement: Maintains employee connect through open houses, branch visits and address queries and clarifications on policies. Facilitate engagement action planning post the employee engagement survey and help design and execute the plans.

- Performance management: Ensures that the performance management principles are known to employees across the verticals, and the process is being implemented in the right spirit.

- Employee Life Cycle Processes and reporting:

- Capture employee feedback for hr interventions

- Prepare monthly report for highlighting the HR initiatives across the division

- Ensures all employee life cycle changes are taking place as per SLA

Others :

- Facilitate business agenda/ meetings like goal setting, review and integration workshops as required

Key Performance Indicators :

1) Manning %, TAT

2) Efforts taken to facilitate developmental agenda in the vertical

3) Innovativeness and initiative shown in identifying and executing new agenda

4) SLA for employee Life cycle processes

Scope of Work :

a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend): - Manage spending of approx. 50 lakhs per annum

b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports): - 1-2 officers report directly, no indirect reports

c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide) - Country wide

d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other): - Home Improvements and Systems

Key Interactions :

Internal - Officers, Executives and above for the Systems vertical and Bath Business

External - Vendors

- Consultants

Qualifications Essential : MBA from premier B-school with minimum 1-2 years of experience

Functional Competencies :

- Knowledge of HR concepts, Relevant legislations

- Experience in HRBP/L&D roles will be desirable
