Role Identifier Job Title Manager- Finance Department Corporate Finacne Reporting to : Chief Manager- Finance Grade : M6 Jobs Reporting Into : Officer- Finance Location/Unit : Vakola, Mumbai Role Description Job Purpose - Conduct Financial Budgeting for the Group &amp; monitor financial performance - Provide inputs to management for decision making on pricing, overhead controls and others Primary Responsibilities Business Responsibility Areas Key Performance Indicators Financial Planning, Financial Analysis &amp; MIS - Prepare annual financial plans for group including sale, material cost, overhead, manpower cost, capex and working capital - Asses detailed profitability and impact of various pricing conditions - Detailed periodic analysis of overheads - Prepare reports on competitor analysis domestic as well as global and economic analysis Business opportunity evaluations - Evaluate M&amp;A Opportunity in domestic &amp; international markets and provide valuation of opportunities - Provide support for due diligence and deal structuring - Support in transaction closure and post closure integration on the Finance &amp; Business front Capex Evaluation - Detailed evaluation of capital expenditure proposals submitted by different functions - Adhere to timelines - Rigor of performance reviews across businesses - Cost saving measures in overheads and capex - Rigor / depth of data analysis - Adhere to timelines - Understanding of Business Aspect of proposal Scope of Work a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend): b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports): 1. direct (One Executive) 2. indirect (2 officers) c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide) - APL group covering financial planning and review for all subsidiaries, JVs and business, raising of funds d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other): - Corporate Finance covering financial review for the group Key Interactions Internal - Business Finance Manager/ CFO of subsidiary - Plant: all levels including Plant account manager and Senior Manager- Engineering and ManTech - Sales Commercial Hierarchy- all levels - Marketing- Commercial and Marketing managers, GM - Supply Chain- all levels - Corporate Finance, tax, Accounts, Secretarial, Legal etc. External - Treasury advisors, mutual funds, banks / financial institutions Role Requirements / Specifications Qualifications Essential - CA / MBA Finance Desired - Commerce / Engineering background Previous Experience Essential - Experience in MIS, Planning &amp; Review Desired - Experience in large corporates with PAN India footprint The apply button will redirect you to an external URL, please apply there as well.&nbsp;
