Manager - EHS (Kasna) Job Title - Manager EHS Department - EHS Reporting to - Sr. Manager QA &amp; EHS Jobs Reporting Into - Senior Officer, Officer, Technician/Team Member/Operator EHS Location/Unit - Kasna Role Description: Job Purpose - Summary To efficiently and effectively manage the Environment Management System and Sustainability Initiatives in Paint Manufacturing unit and to drive continuous improvement in line with the established policy of Asian Paints Primary Responsibilities - Business Responsibility Areas - broad categories Key Performance Indicators: - Manage the Effluent Treatment Plant / Sewage Treatment Plant &amp; water treatment plants like Softener Plant, RO-MEE, DIplant. - Hazardous &amp; Non-Hazardous Waste management and associated facilities - Compliance to Environment Management System and ISO14001. - Define, Design &amp; Manage for effective achievement of Environment Management Plans &amp; Sustainability targets - Define, Design &amp; Execution of CSR projects pertaining to Water Conservation &amp; help achieve water neutrality for the organization - Management of waste movement and Scrap Sale process - Maintain5S&amp;asafeworkplace inETP &amp; Waste Management facilities - Financial expenditures - Design &amp; timely execution of all environment capital expenditures &amp; managing revenue expenditures w.r.t environment - Liaising with statutory authorities - Management of environment team in an effective manner - Develop and assign plans for Continuous Improvement in Environment Management System - Uptime of equipments in ETP/STP &amp; associated treatment facilities like MEE, RO, centrifuge etc. and&nbsp; - Timely renewal of all applicable consents and submission of all applicable statutory forms/returns and compliance to the same on a day-to-daybasis - Identify and establish processes in EMS to ensure complete adherence to new environment legislations - Compliance to EMS manual and system improvement viaself-assessment - Targets on Zero Effluent Generation, Zero SolidWaste Generation, Specific Water Consumption etc. - Identify CSR projects related to water conservation and ensure timely execution of the same to achieve water neutrality targets for the organization - Towards Zero incidents at ETP &amp; Waste management facilities via effective structuring of RA, identification of NMs &amp; UAs/UCs and focus on identification &amp; closure of safety points via DSCs &amp;ASCMs - 5S scoring and sustenance - Preparation &amp; timely submission of EHS MIS reportsto the Supply Chain Hierarchy a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend): Spent - 0.75 - 1.5 Crore/year Scrap Sales - 0.5 - 1 Crore/year b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports): Â· 3-5 Senior Officer / Officer - Direct Â· 1-3 Technician/Team Member/Operator - Indirect c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide) Manufacturing plant d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub- function-wide / Other): DBU Key Interactions: Internal -&nbsp;Plant Engineering dept, Production dept, Plant Administration, SCRC External: - Pollution Control Board - Local administration bodies (for CSR) Qualifications:&nbsp; Essential:&nbsp;&nbsp;PGDISEM from NITIE / M.Tech in Environmental Engg from a reputed institution Desired:&nbsp;PGDISEM from NITIE / M.Tech in Environmental Engg from a reputed institution Previous Experience: Desired:&nbsp;1-3 Years of PGDISEM from NITIE
