Job Purpose: - Identify current &amp; envisage future business health &amp; safety risks and develop control measures. - Ensure 100% health &amp; safety legal compliance of the plants through support, IT, being present to the ever changing requirements and influencing the top supply hierarchy. - Transform the safety culture to a generative level through learning from other companies or within APL and Innovations. Inspiring the teams &amp; plants to keep the generative cycle alive. - Establish new openings in areas of health and safety. ( Process, IT tools, Concept, Equipment &amp; People Competencies) - See that a step improvement in company health &amp; safety performance is accomplished. Responsibilities: - Identify and standardize safety controls at plants - Identify risks areas in all activities and processes and develop control measures - Improve safety infrastructure and process/practices/behaviours - Facilitate the projects of risk assessment, HAZOP, JSA, QRA and others among plants - Strengthening the Safety Management System by adopting best health and safety practices - Prepare the company to achieve 100% legal compliance all the time. - Advise General Work Managers/ General Manager Manufacturing on health and safety matters - Prepare Health and Safety Performance report. - Develop Health Standards - Identify new areas of health and safety improvements.
