Role Description:
Job Purpose:
- Is responsible for the overall Payroll, Retirals Trusts and investment management of Trust- s funds.
- To set processes and controls to improve efficiency of team and reduction of Non Value added activities.
- Compliance to all statutory requirements including but not limited to Labour Codes, PF Act, Income Tax Act etc.
- Active Interaction with payroll vendor for smooth running of payroll related activities

Key Performance Indicators:
- Lead a team of Executives and Assistant Managers to meet all goals/promises for the Department/Function.
- Ensure smooth flow of processes like Payroll/Salary processing, Retirals/PF Trusts related daily activities, Audit, compliance, inspections etc. to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction.
- Ensure superior returns in Investment Management of Trusts funds while keeping safety in mind.
- Responsible for overall Financials of four Trusts along with audit and Liaison with Govt. authorities and other external agencies.
- Overall management of ESOP plan at APL- grants, exercise, purchase of shares through secondary market via trust, valuation , accounting, ensuring compliances to SEBI SBEB regulations along with Secretarial team, implementation of tool/ portal to manage ESOP.
- Ensure accurate accounting and disclosures in accordance with IND AS for payroll, retirals and ESOP.
- To bring about process improvements/value additions/better analysis in all areas of operation and in reporting requirements.
- Implement and leverage the IT systems for elevated levels of efficiency /Customer satisfaction/MIS/Analytics/Reporting etc.
- To ensure compliance to all applicable laws/rules.
- To work and contribute in the other areas / functions within Corporate accounts that may be assigned.
- Smooth transition of new payroll vendor
- Timely processing of monthly payroll
- Ensuring employee satisfaction
- ZERO statutory non- compliance
- Timely and accurate accounting and disclosures
- Ensuring higher returns on investments by PF trust than EPFO declared rates
Scope of Work:
a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend) - NIL
b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports): Two Assistant Managers and a team of 6 Executives who will be indirectly reporting to this profile
c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide)- NIL
d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other): Company Wide

Role Requirements / Specifications:
Qualifications:
Essential:
Chartered Accountant with experience of 6 months to 1 year.
Previous Experience Essential:
Chartered Accountant with experience of 6 months to 1 year.
Desired:
Knowledge of SAP and experience in the above mentioned areas
Functional Competencies:
Knowledge in handling financial statements, Knowledge of Investments, Income Tax/PF etc.
Behavioral Competencies:
Should be a Team player being able to lead a team.
