Role Description - Ensure efficient conduct of Accounts Payable processes in compliance to applicable regulatory/ statutory guidelines Primary Responsibilities: Operational : - Manage stakeholders effectively - Analytical ability to identify logical insights from data handled by the team - Ensure compliance with the agreed SLA, policies and guidelines of the company - Be updated with Indirect, Direct Taxation Laws and Accounting guidelines - Adopt a solution-oriented and customer-centric approach to overcome challenges Process Improvements: - Identify and automate processes to enhance the overall efficiency of the team and processes - Drive initiatives to improve overall statutory and commercial compliance across the Organization - Network, and interact with external experts to evaluate/identify best practices for Payable Management and subsequently implement the same in the Company. People Management : - Lead team of at least 5 people (primarily B.Com graduates) - Upgrade skill and work towards the development of the team - Identify and develop talent for the next level Key Performance Indicators : - SLAs above benchmarks, Process Compliance %, Zero Statutory Non Compliance, - New Processes taken up @ SSC, Automation of process, Benchmarking of processes - Learning &amp; Trainings of the Team Scope of Work : a) Financial Scope (Range of financial spend): 2-3 crores of departmental budget b) People Management Scope (Range of no. of Direct/ Indirect Reports): 1 Executive and 5-6 Officers report directly and 10-15 Officers report indirectly c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide):Global d) Corporate Coverage (Company-wide / Business Unit or Function-wide / Sub-function-wide / Other): Functional Coverage depending on respective work groups and stakeholders Qualifications : Essential : - CA First Attempt Desired : - CA Rank Holder Previous Experience : Essential : - At least 1-2 years post qualification experience Desired : - 2-3 years post qualification experience in the manufacturing industry Functional Competencies : - Business &amp; Organization Understanding - Process Understanding - Accounting Practices and Procedures - Financial analysis and forecasting - Stakeholder Management Leadership Competencies : - Execution Excellence - Build Successful Partnerships - Challenging Status Quo - Impactful Communication - Lead People - Customer Centricity
