Senior Vice President - Investment banking

- ASIACAP is expanding its team and is looking to recruit a corporate finance expert to support its Investment Banking activities in India.

- This is a high-profile role and the candidate will be a part of the senior Team and will work closely with the Singapore team.

- This role is for a candidate with a strong background in Private Equity & Credit and excellent relationships with PE/VC funds and Indian Corporates.

- A track record of successful deal closures and excellent relationship with PE & VC Investors is a pre-requisite for consideration.

- Candidates with relevant experience, relationship and expertise are encouraged to apply. -

KRA :

- Originate & close Private Equity, VC and private financing deals.

- Plan and monitor the PE budget and pipeline. -

- Research and scan market for investment opportunities.

- Should have excellent relationships & knowledge of the India Inc database.-

- Work closely with the Investor team to Originate as per Investors requirements / reverse enquiries. -

- Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the broad product offering.

Desired Skills and Experience: -

- Excellent relationship & knowledge of the PE, VC investor segment.

- Complete deal life cycle understanding of the Private Equity/Private financing business.

- Strong Distribution skills with both onshore and offshore investors.

- Successful track record of executed mandates. -

- A strong work ethic, self-motivation and a desire to succeed are key.

- Successful candidates must be results oriented and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Excellent modeling and presentation skills.

- Good knowledge of legal and financial structures. -

- Sense of ownership as a steward of the company and an infectious passion for their area of responsibility.

- A strong work ethic, self-motivation and a desire to succeed are key.

Education: Top-tier college (e.g. IITs)/MBA (e.g. Ivy League, IIMs)/ Economics graduate/Chartered Accountant preferred

Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience
