AsiaCap - Senior Credit Analyst - IIM/ISB/INSEAD/IIT (4-5 yrs)
Job description
Asiacap is looking out for Senior Credit Analyst professionals with 4+ years of experience in below areas:
- Screening investment opportunities in bonds and credit derivatives to generate trade ideas
- Independently perform detailed credit analysis at both the issuer and sectoral level to recommend the credit instruments (preferably bonds)
- Preparing credit note, earnings note, newsletter and macroeconomic views
- Experience with credit and fixed income modelling
- Active participation in the monthly and quarterly portfolio reviews with Investment Committee
- Review of portfolio trades against desired risk positions as well as against mandates, guidelines, and constraints
- Portfolio monitoring (follow-up of financial covenants, risks alert, core data checks)
- Ensure overall credit and sector positioning are consistent with current views and strategy
- Ability to work under pressure in a high churning environment and deliver quality research output on time
- Ability to take additional responsibilities as when required
- Should be flexible to work on multiple projects
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree through Tier-I Colleges (IIM/ISB/Insead/IIT etc)
- Must have working knowledge of Credit Ratings
- At least 4 Years of experience in conducting credit research on Asian corporates
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other financial software like Bloomberg, Reuters etc.
- Deliver exceptional service to our high net worth investors providing best-in-class service and solutions to grow customer relationships within set standards
- Provide first call resolution while following strict procedures that meet compliance guidelines
- Apply problem solving / decision making skills to achieve desired output
- High attention-to-details (ATD), and deliver high-quality research on time
- Good in number crunching and interest in capital markets
- Qualities of a good team player
