Role Name : Supply Chain & Buyer - Raw Glass (RG)

Role Description : Purchasing of RG worth Rs. 100 to 120 Crore

Role purpose : Procure RG with best quality, at lowest cost and timely deliveries of RG and Development of RG suppliers

Responsibilities Heads : Secure supply of RG as per Budget/ S&OP for the financial year

KRA :

- Finalize SOB and volume allocation with RG supplier

- Finalize credit terms with RG suppliers

- Monitor internal consumption

KPI : Monitor SOB to achieve lowest cost

Responsibilities Heads : Environment knowledge with respect to global demand and supply situation

KRA :

- Get updates on supply and demand situation

- Update on capacity and condition of plant

KPI :

- In terms of capacity vs supply

- Production cost

Responsibilities Heads : Competitor's analysis (Import data Analysis)

KRA : To collect information about competitor procurement cos

KPI : Check our internal actual cost vs budgeted cost vs competitor cost

Responsibilities Heads : Adherence to budget and target

KRA : RG cost grade wise/plant wise

KPI : Gap analysis in detail & reasons & corrective actions on monthly basis

Responsibilities Heads : Monitoring Volume discount (Quarterly/ Annually)

KRA : Track monthly volume allocation based on supplier agreement

KPI : Collect Credit Notes from suppliers as per frequency decided in agreement

Responsibilities Heads : Process adherence

KRA : TS 16949 and TQM

KPI : To close NC and audit as per target

Responsibilities Heads : Vendor Rating

KRA : To prepare vendor rating at 6 months interval

KPI : QCDDM parameters

Responsibilities Heads : Delivery Performance

KRA : Timeliness as defined

KPI : Production and dispatch orders and per cycle

REQUIREMENTS :

Knowledge : Procurement and Product Qualification

Experience'(Number of years) : 8 - 10 years

Skills : Supply Chain Practices, Global Sourcing

Qualification : B. Tech. (Mech Engineering)

INTERACTION :

Internal : Supply Chain, Business Development, MIS, Marketing, Quality ,Planning

Other External parties/Vendors : Global Suppliers, Internal SBUs
