Aryng - Vice President - Analytics/Data Science & Client Management

We are hiring a full-time, fully remote VP, Client Services, responsible for leading and delivering analytics and data science solutions to clients. This position will directly report to the CEO.

We have a flexible remote work policy in India. Work from the beautiful beaches of Goa or your ancestral village; we are all good so long as you have a good internet connection and stable power supply.

The VP of client services will be responsible for delivering full-cycle analytics and data science services, including prospect engagement, POC, thought leadership, designing solutions, hiring and managing delivery and the execution team, client success, and creating revenue streams. The right candidate would have expertise in leading client-facing analytics delivery and some experience with sales and business development.

What you will do -

- Lead cross-functional relationships with Sales, Client Success, Strategic Partnerships, and Marketing to identify prospective accounts and engage the right stakeholders on the account to convert to a POC.

- Manage POC delivery and the delivery team.

- Convert POC to a recurring/retainer model.

- Provide thought leadership to clients and manage day-to-day delivery by the execution team

- Identify opportunities for account expansion.

- Hire, mentor, and retain a data science and analytics delivery team.

- Create videos and blogs to show analytics thought leadership

What we look for ?

- 7+ years of work experience in analytics and data science role (startup experience is a big plus)

- 3+ years experience managing teams

- Demonstrated experience in client engagement (sales experience and startup Rolodex is a big plus)

- Track record of successfully driving projects from end to end (from building strategy to execution)

- Strong working knowledge of analytical tools, such as SQL, Python, and BI visualization tools (bonus points for hands-on experience building ML models)

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment and cross-functionally

- Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Ability to engage with c-suite executives

- A passion for finding insights in data and driving change based on those insights

- Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment

- Open to learning and adopting new data science frameworks and methodologies.

- The compensation will depend on your experience. The total package includes the base, bonus, and account acquisition incentives.

This role requires some overlap hours with the teams in the U.S.
