Arvind Group - Internal Audit Role

Key Purpose of the Job :

The key purpose of the job will support the Head, Business Assurance in providing an independent evaluation of activities within the Company and its related entities, ensuring strict adherence to the Company's internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory and statutory requirements to promote transparency and accountability, enhance risk management, governance and compliance, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen the internal control systems within the operations.

Major responsibilities :

- Oversee the internal control environment which may include review of existing financial and internal business controls procedures, compliance policy and recommending internal control improvements as well as documenting and updating control database.

- Establish effective business relationships within the Company and assist respective businesses in the understanding and application of and adherence to internal control, risk management, and governance principles.

- Identify financial, operational and compliance related risk and formulate recommendations to improve the company's control environment.

- Assist in creating and executing regular monitoring mechanisms to improve the overall control environment.

- Monitor the audit work paper documentation. Track timely and effective corrective actions taken following audit recommendations.

The Senior Internal Audit professional should have :

- Ability to work with and through teams to obtain effective results. Mentor and Develop the team for next level.

- Strong verbal and written communications skill. Possess excellent presentation skills

- Ability to think strategically, anticipate external developments (regulatory, market related) and be able to devise strategies to mitigate the same.

- Impeccable integrity and high personal ethics.

- Be a self-starter with a high energy level, and entrepreneurial mindset.
