We specialize in catering to the unique needs of e-commerce businesses.
we are looking for qualified and experienced Chartered Accountants to join our GST team and manage the end-to-end GST process, including various GST filings.
We are looking to expand our GST team with 2 Chartered Accountants (4+ years of relevant experience) to support to support our growing client base, including our internal audit.
Job Title: Chartered Accountant (GST Manager).
1) Job Responsibilities:
- GST Compliance & Advisory.
- Prepare and file various GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.
- Handle filings related to e-commerce transactions, such as GSTR-8 (TCS compliance).
- Ensure proper reconciliation of outward supplies, input tax credit, and e-commerce TCS reports.
Internal Audit & Controls:.
- Conduct internal audits for the Sattva Group and other e-commerce clients to ensure GST processes are compliant and efficient.
- Evaluate and strengthen internal controls related to GST operations.
- Provide recommendations for improving systems and processes to reduce errors and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Liaison with Tax Authorities and Department.
- Handle all communication and correspondence with GST officers and departments on behalf of clients.
- Manage responses to GST-related notices, inquiries, and demands documentation for GST appeals and attend hearings when necessary.
- Ensure timely submission of all departmental filings and documentation required for GST audits and assessments.
- Coordinate with legal counsel for GST-related litigation, if required.
Client Interaction:
- Liaise with clients' teams to ensure smooth GST operations.
- Provide strategic GST-related guidance, troubleshooting client issues, and responding to queries on a timely basis.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare GST reports and assist in management reviews with actionable insights.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all GST-related transactions.
Updates & Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with changes in GST laws, rules, and regulations, especially as they pertain to the e-commerce sector.
- Conduct training sessions for internal team members and clients on new GST developments.
2) Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in GST advisory, compliance, and departmental liasoning, preferably within the e-commerce industry.
- In-depth knowledge of GST laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in using GST filing software and accounting tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
3) Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience working with e-commerce companies or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce GST rules such as TCS (Tax Collected at Source), Input Tax Credit (ITC), and departmental compliance.
- Experience handling GST notices, appeals, and regulatory hearings.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively.
