Job Title: Assistant Manager - Audit.

Location: Shanthi Nagar, Bengaluru.

Work Mode: Onsite.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Manager Audit to lead and manage our Audit & Assurance functions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Audit team, executing audits, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role will require expertise in GST reconciliation, financial and costing ratios, variance analysis, and MIS reporting.

The candidate should also have a strong understanding of the audit process, industry trends, and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and Manage Audit Team: Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members to ensure the efficient execution of audits.

- Audit Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and oversee financial and compliance audits in accordance with applicable regulations and auditing standards.

- Review Audit Work Papers: Ensure accuracy and compliance by reviewing audit work papers, financial statements, and related reports.

- Client Communication: Engage with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and offer solutions.

Maintain strong client relationships:

- GST Reconciliation: Prepare GST reconciliation statements, particularly GSTR-9C, and ensure accuracy in the submission of tax-related documents.

- Financial and Costing Analysis: Perform financial and costing ratio analysis, including variance analysis, to assess business performance and financial health.

- MIS Reporting: Provide periodical Management Information System (MIS) reports to clients and senior management, highlighting key financial and operational insights.

- Audit Methodologies & Tools Development: Contribute to the development and maintenance of audit methodologies, tools, and templates.

- Process Improvement: Collaborate with senior management and partners to refine audit processes and improve service quality.

- Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends, accounting principles, and regulatory changes, ensuring audits are performed effectively and in compliance.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory reporting standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA): CA qualification is mandatory.

- Audit Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant audit experience, preferably within a professional audit firm.

- Audit Methodologies: Strong understanding of audit methodologies, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.

- GST Expertise: Knowledge of GST, particularly in preparing and reconciling GSTR-9C statements.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to perform detailed financial and costing ratio analysis, including variance analysis.

- Client Management: Excellent communication skills to engage with clients and provide professional advice.

- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and team management experience to effectively lead and mentor a team.

- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with auditing software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Continuous Learning: A commitment to professional development and staying updated with industry standards.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with industry-specific audits (e., manufacturing, retail).

- Exposure to advanced MIS reporting tools or ERP systems.

- Experience in managing cross-functional projects or initiatives.
