Senior Operations Manager for Global AMC - Job Description   ARGA Investment Management, LP - Chennai, India  The Operations team at ARGA comprises collaborative problem solvers who are passionate about operational excellence. The team comprises specialists across trading, settlements, reconciliations, client service, fund accounting, finance and compliance. Working extensively with other ARGA teams and service providers, the team implements and improves best-in-class processes that support all firm-wide activities.   We are seeking an experienced professional with keen business insight and good technical skills to take our operations platform to the next level of excellence. The role requires both - big-picture- thinking and - in-the-weeds- analysis/execution skills.   Responsibilities:  a. Management of operations team members  b. Client account management including opening and transitioning accounts, fee calculations  c. Daily/monthly cash and asset reconciliations and reporting.   d. Monitoring security and fx trade settlements  e. Cash flow processing and monitoring  f. Corporate actions and proxy voting  g. Client restriction reporting including set up and review  h. Documentation of all processes and database management  i. Assistance in audits   Qualifications:  1. 5 - 8 years of experience in management of operations in the asset management industry - either in a manager/consulting capacity or in implementing vendor solutions  2. Demonstrated academic achievement and degrees in engineering or management at a top school  3. Financial or accounting expertise is a plus but not required  4. Advanced skills in MS Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) and comfortable presenting to senior individuals  5. Ability to conceptualize viable technology solutions combined with a good understanding of SQL is preferred  6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, attention to detail and a strong work ethic   7.
