ARGA - Accounting Analyst (3-5 yrs)
Firm Accounting
- Prepare management accounts for individual ARGA entities and at a global consolidated level in accordance with US GAAP and any other special financial reporting framework as mandated by the regulations.
- Create monthly budgets, forecasts and provide commentary of financial performance. Regularly review the actuals against budgets.
- Oversee the bookkeeping and purchase ledgers of ARGA operating entities in USA and India, assisted by dedicated support staff in both locations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports in accordance with the regulations.
- Coordinate with the auditors of individual ARGA entities and ensure the audits are completed within the required timelines.
- Prepare and monitor organizational cash flow, working capital and advise on appropriate actions.
- Contribute to developing and improving management accounting systems and internal reporting, based on the needs of the stakeholders.
- Understand the latest developments in the accounting frameworks and practices.
- Ensure a good internal control environment over the corporate accounting processes.
- Fund Accounting
- Understand the accounting guide issued by the AICPA in relation to US Investment Companies and IFRS in relation to UCITs Funds.
- Coordinate investment Fund audit activities with external US and Ireland Fund administrator and auditors.
- Review and/or prepare investment fund expenses, accruals, and other fund account balances of US Commingled, UCITS and Mutual Funds.
- Contribute to identifying and resolving audit or assurance issues and make sure there are no outstanding queries with the auditors.
- Research and advise on technical accounting matters, as and when required.
- Review the accuracy of regulatory filings in relation to Fund's financial information.
- Complete the audit confirmations received from Fund Investors and respond to them in a timely manner.
