Position: Area Sales Manager-Retail/Channel Sales (Kolkatta) (Building Materials Co)
Role:
- This is a Area Sales Manager role
- The position is accountable to grow sales and increase market share in the area by effective customer segmentation
- Managing the distribution network and all the activities related to channel development and retailing
- In addition generate business through key accounts and institutional segments
- Ensure strong presence in all the key accounts of such as architects, builders, corporate(s) and consultants
- Responsible for doing market intelligence and competitor analysis on a continuous basis
Requirements:
- BE + MBA
- 5-10 yrs of experience having strength in Retail & Distribution with appreciation towards marketing/brand management
- Should have worked, preferably in the building materials, or a related Industry, especially Interior Construction Products (Furniture, Lighting, Glass, Tiles, Air Conditioner, Interior Decorators Sales etc)
- Experience in Retail/ Channel as well as B2B Sales is required
- Consumer marketing skills will be preferred
- Should have experience in growing the business in his/her earlier stints
- Good people management skills
